Even though the majority of you reading this already know the wonderful news, I wanted to officially announce it on the blog…I’m pregnant!!! Baby Stephens will be making his or her appearance sometime around December 19th. We decided not to find out the gender of the baby, and cannot wait to meet our little one in just a few short months. Here are some of my ultrasound pictures, taken at 20 weeks. Also, Jason took the photos of me below just yesterday at 24 weeks.
Earlier this summer I had the opportunity to second shoot for the talented Rachel DeBell. We photographed Morgan and Tucker’s wedding at the Westin at Stonebriar. It was awesome to work alongside Rachel, and to help document the day for this beautiful couple. Here are a few of the shots I captured. I’m sorry to say that things have been pretty quiet on the blog lately. I don’t know why exactly, but life has just seemed BUSY lately. Definitely not in a bad way, but busy nonetheless. I can tell you one source of the busy-ness for sure: the not-so-little-anymore pup below. Sebastian is 6 months old today and already 60 pounds. Yikes! But, boy is he cute. :) More photos to come soon!
Happy birthday to our nephew Benjamin! We love this little guy, and can’t believe he’s already 1!
Allison and Chris had two simple requests for their recent engagement session–a few photos with their adorable dachshund, Lucy, and some shots in front of Dallas’ Reunion Tower–check and check! In between taking care of those two items, Jason and I spent our evening exploring the downtown area with these two. We had a great time, and Allison and Chris were up for anything!
As you can imagine, Lucy was a pro in front of the camera and basked in her 15 minutes of fame.
We discovered this sweet brick wall right by our parking space and went straight for it.
Chris does a fantastic one-eyebrow-up look and I just had to capture it–come on, not everyone’s eyebrows are so talented.
And here is one of the shots we took in front of Reunion Tower. Chris proposed to Allison at Wolfgang Puck’s Five Sixty restaurant on the tower’s rotating top floor–how cool is that?!
Allison and Chris, we had a great time photographing and just getting to know you two. We can’t wait for the wedding in September!
It’s about time for another post starring our little guy. Sebastian is getting bigger every day, and already weighs twice what he did when we got him. He’s still working on getting his ears up, and we just started a training class on Friday evenings. We think he’s the smartest dog there, but we might be a little biased. 
I’d like to introduce you all to our cute little German Shepherd pup, Sebastian! He became a part of our family just a week and a half ago, and he’ll be nine weeks old tomorrow. He’s super smart and has already mastered sleeping through the night, and a couple tricks like sitting and lying down. Other things, such as walking on a leash and keeping his teeth to himself, are a work in progress. He keeps us on our toes and barely gives us a moment’s rest, but really, who can resist a face like that???
Remember this little cutie?? My niece Samantha starred in one of my very first posts after the start of the blog in 2008. She was just barely two then. Nowadays, she is quick to let you know that she’ll be four (this summer), and then five after that. A couple weeks ago, her mom, Cassey, and I brought Sam right outside their back porch for a little photo session. Things were just beginning to turn green, and she was busy picking flowers and leaves.
We then turned our cameras to her little brother, Benjamin. Ben is nine months old, and was much more interested in the grass than anything else. I was able to sneak in a couple shots of him while keeping the leaves out of his mouth. 
Jason and I are so happy to be near family here in Dallas, including Jason’s grandparents. Family is so important to us, and it is fun to watch little Sam and Ben grow and learn so quickly. They’ll soon become regulars on the blog here!
